As longer term business travelers, we loved the central location and helpful staff. the communal space was cosy and the atmosphere was welcoming. the staff gave great recommendations for hiking, food, and activities. the kitchen was well-equipped and the free hot drinks were a convenient perk. the price was competitive and the beds were comfortable.

    Felt like home, no complaints.

Comfortable beds with two pillows provided, and the heaters and showers worked fine. I appreciated the free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available. The hostel's location near the city center was convenient. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I would recommend this hostel.

Friendly and helpful staff, going above expectations. Convenient location, just a short walk from the train station.- Peaceful area with beautiful mountain scenery.- Lovely seating area to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

No guard rails on top bunks in the dorm, potentially unsafe. Communal bathroom located outside the dorm, remember to take key to avoid being locked out.

Best aspects the hostel had a great atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home and were always ready to answer any questions I had. the common area was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view. I loved that they offered free tea and coffee, especially after a long day of exploring. It was a nice way to relax and warm up. the hostel had a washing service available for a small fee of only 5 pounds. This was a huge help after days of hiking, as I was able to freshen up my clothes without the hassle of finding a laundromat. the breakfast was also outstanding, with a self-serve system and an honor system for payment. It was a convenient and tasty way to start the day.

It felt cramped and it was difficult to move around comfortably.

the staff were friendly and helpful, providing all the necessary equipment in the kitchen and dining area. I was pleasantly surprised to find free food cupboards available. the bathrooms and toilets were manageable as long as you woke up a bit early. the hostel was very comfy and the receptionist was kind and sweet, giving us recommendations for dinner and parking. The availability of toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊.

The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the kitchen was large and well-equipped, and the dining room had a lovely touch with fresh flowers on the tables. the location was perfect, with stunning views of the mountains and close to the center. the pricing was great for budget travelers like us. There was also a women's dormitory that exceeded our expectations, with clean and new beds. the dormitory itself was very clean, and there were plenty of outlets to charge our devices. We also appreciated the cozy living room with sofas, a guitar, and a fireplace. Free coffee and tea were a nice bonus. the staff was friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage there after check-out time.

Felt so taken care of, nothing to complain about.

    Friendly Backpackers

I had an amazing time at this hostel! The cozy lounge was the perfect spot to meet fellow backpackers and share hiking stories. The receptionist was so friendly and gave me some great advice for my own adventure. The hostel had plenty of maps and suggestions on the walls, inspiring me to explore even more. The location was convenient, close to the train station and supermarkets. Despite the limited toilet facilities, it didn't bother me at all. Plus, I found it easy to find like-minded hikers who wanted to tackle the Ben Nevis trek together. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hostel for a memorable backpacking trip.

Convenient location, close to shops and bus depot, with a bit of a climb. Good for walkers, it's near everything necessary but off the main street. The atmosphere is pleasant with a cozy fire and enjoyable conversations with fellow guests.

Great place to stay after completing the WHW! Comfy beds and warm showers after five days in the wild. Lovely sitting room to relax in.

WiFi didn't work well on the first day and was only average afterwards. No lockers in the rooms and no bedside chargers, but each room had a charging point.
